The Farmers' Bar.
With more than 550 years of presence in the local community, The Farmers' Bar is a fine example of a true British pub in Buckinghamshire and the Chilterns.
You will find our pub to be a delightful place for conversations both during the day and evening. Meet up with friends and family for a celebration meal, pop in for a quick lunch or dinner or relax by the fire on one of our sofas any time of the day - there is always a warm welcome and a polite service from our friendly team.
The Farmers' Bar is home of a wide range of ever-changing real ales, cider and craft beers. There are 17 draught to choose from, all served from one of the most advanced and unique cellar systems in England with high-precision tuning and gas feed for each beer.
If you choose to sit outside in the courtyard, there is almost a holiday-feel: the cobbles, the ancient walls and the beautiful planting, all contributes to an enjoyable experience here at the King’s Head.
Drinks.
The full range of Chiltern Brewery beers are on tap daily, alongside changing guest beers sourced from around our shores, all kept in excellent condition by our Head Cellarman, Peter and our team.
Carefully selected wines, specialist spirits, Chiltern Brewery gins and our own recipe gin cocktails are unique additions to the bar’s offering. We aim to support local distilleries and drinks producers and committed to offer better alternatives from smaller companies wherever we can. Our lovely bar staff are always here for you to offer beer tasters and recommend you the right drink based on your preferences.
We also have a wide range of no and low alcohol beers, spirits and cider.
Setting.
Lovely old beams and original features are in abundance wherever the eye wanders, brought up-to-date tastefully with the family’s cherished artefacts and handmade ornaments.
Courtyard.
The courtyard is available to be enjoyed all year round. It is a real sun trap and a wonderful atmospheric place to sit and enjoy time with friends and family - a great escape from the town centre. There are heaters under the covered area by the stables for the colder months.
