Step into a night of flavour, history and convivial company at The King’s Head’s Medieval Night — an evening inspired by more than 500 years of gatherings in our magnificent Great Hall.

Built in the late 15th century, the Great Hall was originally designed for feasting and celebration. On 21 May 2026, we bring that heritage to life with a thoughtfully created banquet that evokes the spirit of celebratory dining and fine hospitality.

Join us for a multi-course banquet that celebrates medieval ingredients. Explore rich flavours, share good conversation and enjoy a unique evening in one of Aylesbury’s most atmospheric rooms.

Spaces are limited, and previous Medieval Nights have been popular — early booking is recommended.

£20 non-refundable deposit per guest is required at the time of booking.

The menu is specially designed to recreate medieval dishes and flavours using popular medieval-time ingredients, therefore we may not able to cater for some dietary requirements. If you have questions about this, please contact us for details before making a reservation as deposits are non-refundable.
